Olivia Dean announces new album titled ‘The Art Of Loving’

Olivia Dean has announced her second album, titled ‘The Art Of Loving’, which is due to be released on September 26.

Released by Capitol, ‘The Art Of Loving’ explores the many dimensions of love, including romantic, platonic and self. The album follows her 2023 debut ‘Messy’.

The album will feature ‘Nice To Each Other’, which was released earlier this month.  Speaking about the song, Dean said: “‘Nice To Each Other’ is a song about the push and pull of exploring your independence in dating. It’s about enjoying someone in the present and allowing it to be both light and meaningful. I think this song and video represents a playfulness in me that I’m excited for people to see.”

The track is accompanied by a one-take visual captured by Jake Erland, watch it below.

Later this summer, Dean will join Sabrina Carpenter at her BST Hyde Park show on 6th July, then embark on her sold-out North American tour.

In other Olivia Dean-related news, she has released the duet version of ‘Rein Me In’ with Sam Fender, which was originally featured on Fender’s third and latest studio album ‘People Watching’.

Since it was shared, the Geordie singer-songwriter has been putting a new spin on the song during his huge live show across the UK. The first of which took place at London Stadium earlier this month, when Fender brought Dean out to the 80,000-strong crowd and performed a collaborative rendition.

The two of them would then join forces twice more at shows to share the duet – both held at Fender’s huge homecoming shows at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park.

Now, a new version of the duet has officially been made available on streaming platforms. A new video has been shared too, featuring footage from Fender’s recent sell-out stadium run in London and Newcastle, shot by Daniel Broadley.
