Lily Allen gave ‘Pussy Palace’ its live debut in Los Angeles last night (Thursday January 8), along with more tracks from ‘West End Girl’. Check out the footage below.
The singer-songwriter showcased her acclaimed new album at the launch party for Chanel’s Coco Crush jewellery line at LA’s Chateau Marmont.
“Luckily, [these songs] are not based on real-life experiences, and these things definitely did not happen at this hotel!” she jokingly told those in attendance during the stripped-back, five-song set.
According to Setlist.FM, Allen’s performance included with the ballad ‘Sleepwalking’ and ‘Madeline’, both of which she debuted on Saturday Night Live last month.
The pop star also gave fan-favourite ‘Pussy Palace’ its live debut at the intimate gig. She played ‘Tennis’ and ‘Just Enough’ for the very first time, too.
Fan-shot footage shows Allen breaking into laughter as the audience sang along to a piano-led take on the explicit ‘Pussy Palace’. In the song, Allen discovers her partner’s secret bag, containing “sex toys, butt plugs, lube [and] hundreds of Trojans“.

Lily Allen is set to perform ‘West End Girl’ in full at a run of UK and Ireland arena shows this summer. These dates will follow a series of smaller live gigs in March. Find any remaining tickets here.
Last November, it was announced that the singer would also be headlining London’s Mighty Hoopla 2026 – a move that led to over 35,000 tickets being sold in just 30 minutes.
‘West End Girl was written and recorded following the breakdown Allen’s marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, after he allegedly cheated on her. In a four-star review, NME described the project as a “vicious, vulnerable and victorious comeback”.
As Consequence previously reported, Harbour is allegedly “furious” at Allen for the album and butt plug references on ‘Pussy Palace’ – which inspired a new NSFW USB drive version of the record.
“The embarrassment is off the charts,” an insider reportedly said. “He’s furious at essentially being accused of being this skirt-chasing monster and the world’s worst husband.”
However, Allen has insisted that ‘West End Girl’ is “not a cruel album”, saying she does not “need revenge” on her ex. She recently explained that making the LP had been “an act of desperation”. The star had previously called the collection “a mixture of fact and fiction”. Allen also said ‘West End Girl’ had been inspired by the “storytelling” style of The Streets’ ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’.
The album explores Allen’s “deep-rooted issues with rejection and abandonment” in the wake of her divorce. Elsewhere, a woman who is said to have inspired ‘Madeline’ has come forward following her affair with Harbour. But according to Allen, ‘Madeline’ was a fictional character who was a “construct of others”.
‘Pussy Palace’ landed at Number 21 on NME‘s 50 best songs of 2025 list. ‘West End Girl’ was placed at Number 13 in our 50 best albums of the year feature.
In other news, Allen has teased that the record could be turned into a play, saying: “I’m definitely having some conversations with people about it.” Elsewhere, she has reflected on returning to the UK as a single mum after her whirlwind year.
