Patrick & Lindsay Clancy Were Married For Six Years, With Patrick Remarrying Since The Slaying Of His Three Children
In early 2023, Lindsay Clancy fatally strangled her three children in a case that made national news. She was then prosecuted for three counts of murder in a trial that started this past July.
Lindsay admitted to the killings. However, her defense team argued that she had been facing postpartum psychosis and bipolar disorder, with much of the trial focusing on her mental health. After a deadlocked jury and a denied emergency appeal, the next hearing is set for September 29.
Since then, CBS has announced that Lindsay’s former husband, Patrick Clancy, would speak with 60 Minutes. Having been married to Lindsay for six years, he is the father of the three slain children: Cora, Dawson, and Callan. Since the death of the three children, Patrick has divorced Lindsay, remarried, relocated, and testified in the subsequent murder trial.
A Simple Teaser Showcased Patrick Sitting Down To Speak With Ross Douthat For 60 Minutes
In a post shared on social media, members of 60 Minutes could be seen hooking up Patrick’s mic before he nervously sits for the interview. The teaser then cuts to black.

As previously reported, this comes out as 60 Minutes recently returned for a Season 59 premiere. The upcoming interview was also promoted during a recent broadcast of CBS Evening News.
As noted by CBS News, Clancy spoke with correspondent Ross Douthat weeks after the case ended in a mistrial. It was shared that he was set to talk “about his grief, his memories of his children, and the baseless conspiracy theories that flooded social media since his ex-wife’s murder trial.” At the time, it was noted that prosecutors in the case haven’t yet announced whether they will seek a retrial.
