Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camilla Cabello and more have been confirmed to be performing at the 2024 VMAs next month.
All three have have made headlines in pop throughout 2024. The Cover alumna Roan enjoyed a meteoric rise, partly thanks to her viral hit ‘Good Luck Babe!’, with her 2023 album ‘The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess’ topping the UK charts almost a year after it was released.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter has had an equally huge year with her smash hit ‘Espresso‘ and forthcoming album ‘Short N’ Sweet’, while Cabello has just released her new album ‘C,OXO’.
They will be joined by GloRilla and Rauw Alejandro.
The ceremony was due to take place on September 10 in New York but will now take place on September 11 to avoid clashing with a presidential debate, which will be the first time candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris will face off against each other.

MTV declared in a press release: “Our fans are encouraged to tune in for the 9/10 debate ahead of music’s most iconic night.” The broadcaster has continuously encouraged viewers to go out and vote on election day.
Taylor Swift and Post Malone are leading the nominations for the MTV VMAs this year with 19 nominations between them.
Swift is out in front with 10, while Malone only has one fewer, with nine – and many of their nominations are for ‘Fortnight’, Swift’s song which features Malone. Among the other artists to have multiple nominations are Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem, and Ariana Grande, who all have six each.
Both Swift and Eminem are up for the most prestigious award of the night, Video of the Year. Four-time winner Swift is the current award holder, for ‘Anti-Hero’, while Eminem has received a record seven nominations for the award over the years. Also up for the award are Grande, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat and SZA.
Artist of the Year, meanwhile, is between Swift, Eminem, Grande, SZA, Carpenter and Bad Bunny, while Song of the Year is between Swift, Carpenter, Beyoncé, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar and Teddy Swims.
