Pop was accompanied by a seven-piece band for his performance at the Auditorium Stravinski in Switzerland. Here, he treated the crowd to songs from his solo catalogue as well as numerous cuts from his time with The Stooges.
The artist also showcased his 19th and latest studio album, 2023’s ‘Every Loser’.
Recorded and filmed by the Montreux Jazz Festival team, the gig marked Pop’s third appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
“I give something extra every time I do Montreux Jazz,” the star said in a statement. “In ’23 it was deep cuts like ‘Mass Production’, ‘Endless Sea’, ‘Five Foot One’ and a hell of a lot of sweat.”
To celebrate the announcement, Pop has shared a live version of ‘Five Foot One’ from the festival concert. You can watch the performance below, or listen via your preferred streaming platform here.
