A new report has revealed that Electronic music generated around £2.5billion for the UK economy last year. The study was commissioned by the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA), and conducted as part of the ‘Electronic Beats, Economic Treats 2024’ music report. WASHINGTON — The U.K. Ministry of Defense awarded contracts to Lockheed Martin and Rhea Group to develop satellite control systems for the nation’s future remote-sensing constellation. The awards announced last week, each worth about $2.5 million, are part of the U.K. MoD’s ISTARI project, a next-generation constellation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) satellites in low Earth orbit.  The U.K. government in 2022 announced plans to invest about $1 billion in the ISTARI program over 10 years.
