Erykah Badu and the Alchemist Team Up for New Song “Next to You”: Listen

Erykah Badu and the Alchemist have come together for a new song, “Next to You.” It arrives ahead of the artists’ joint tour of Japan, and the Alchemist has also suggested that it’ll appear on a new album called Abi & Alan. Find the new song below.

Badu has not released an album since 2010’s New Amerykah, Pt. 2: Return of the Ankh. She followed that with the 2015 mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone.

The Alchemist releases projects and singles quite often. This year, he shared a collaboration with Larry June and 2 Chainz titled Life Is Beautiful.
