Hailey Bieber’s Viral Gap Jeans Are Back in Stock

After going viral over the summer and selling out following the launch on July 16, Hailey Bieber’s Gap jeans are back in stock today, October 2. Leading up to the initial release, my TikTok For You page was filled with videos about the collaboration, so I had a feeling the jeans wouldn’t be available for long. It seemed like everyone in fashion wanted to buy them, and given their success, Gap decided to make more.

The Hailey Jean capsule features two silhouettes, with three washes in each: the Hailey Low Rise Loose and the Hailey Extra Baggy. The Low Rise Loose is relaxed through the hip and thigh with a loose, straight leg, and if you like an oversize fit, the Extra Baggy is for you. Both are inspired by 1996 (her birth year) and the understated wardrobe she’s become known for.

For the restock, assistant shopping editor Josephine Hadjiloucas and I each tried a pair. Below, see our reviews and shop the $90 jeans before they inevitably sell out again.

The Low Rise Loose dark-wash pair (called Midnight Indigo) is the one Bieber has been seen wearing out and about often, and it’s my preferred style. I usually gravitate toward fitted straight-leg jeans, and this is a laid-back, relaxed version of those without being too far of a departure. If you’re not used to wearing low-rise jeans, I’d recommend the Hailey Low Rise Loose Jeans as an intro. I can see myself styling them with a three-quarter-sleeve boatneck T-shirt, ballet flats or kitten-heel sandals, and a trench coat if I need a layer.

“I leaned into the baggy nature of the Hailey Bieber jeans and paired them with an oversize striped tee from the Banana Republic x La Ligne collection, a slightly sheer long-sleeve underneath, and a long-sleeve white T-shirt tied around the waist. To showcase the flooded hem, I went with my low-profile Adidas Taekwondo Shoes. I finished the look with a Stand Oil bag. I see myself reaching for these ultra-baggy jeans more often than not. They make for the perfect everyday denim and look great with basics, sweaters, and oversize sweatshirts.” — Josephine Hadjiloucas
