While he has plenty of fans who love seeing the former champion hosting the show, there are others who feel the show might be better going in a different direction. Jeopardy! Player Calls Out Ken Jennings During Show

While Ken Jennings has faced some criticism of his job hosting Jeopardy!, he continues to do his best in the role. There were rumors his bosses might be looking elsewhere, but it seems that Ken might be here to stay. This brought one player out to say something about it on a recent episode.

Ken was hosting Jeopardy! when contestant Steven Czekala, a retired dentist from Oakland, California, stopped gameplay to call out the host. What he said was very kind to the former champion.

“Ken, I’ve always wanted to say this. I think you’re doing a really good job hosting the show,” Steven said. Jennings seemed touched, and he laughed with appreciation (via Parade).

Jeopardy! Staff Also Has Spoken Up For Ken Jennings

There have been some staff members who are also cheering for Ken Jennings to continue on as the host. While Pop Culture Jeopardy! is currently filming with Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, many staff members prefer Ken.

According to sources, the staff members support Ken Jennings and are not on board with the rumors about his job security. “Despite rumors he might be replaced, Ken is going nowhere fast and is pushing to get a longer contract on the show,” a source said. The source also said that they like Ken better than Colin, and that Ken makes fewer mistakes.
