Nourished by Time has announced a new EP, his first since releasing Erotic Probiotic 2 and subsequently signing with XL Recordings. The five-song record is called Catching Chickens, and you can watch a video for the single “Hand on Me†below. The EP arrives March 22.
The self-directed video, which was shot by Josh Renaut, is “about being reminded that you’re an angel by other angels, featuring a surrealist commentary on celebrity culture,†said Nourished by Time’s Marcus Brown in a press statement. He wrote the EP at his Baltimore home studio in 2022 and 2023, naming it for the Rocky II scene in which Sylvester Stallone’s character races around chasing chickens as a test of his agility.
