While we thought he was long past slipping on the gold chains and streetwear of Ali G, it appears actor Sacha Baron Cohen is not quite ready to “Bye-yakasha” to the character who hit big screens in 2002’s ‘Ali G Indahouse.’
There had been chatter a few years ago about Cohen developing something new featuring the troublemaker, and now it looks like he’s coming back.

Per The InSneider, Cohen and his collaborators have sneakily shot a new movie, filming in the UK (and reportedly also America) last year.

Who is Ali G?

Ali G, or Alistair Leslie Graham to give him his proper name, is a satirical fictional character created and performed by Cohen. A faux-streetwise poseur from Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey, England. Ali G speaks in rude boy–style Multicultural London English.
He usually conducts interviews with unsuspecting subjects who do not realise they have been set up.
The character launched on ‘The 11 O’Clock Show’ in the UK, before scoring his own series (where Cohen also launched the likes of Borat) and ultimately aforementioned movie spin-off ‘Ali G Indahouse.’
When will the new Ali G movie be on screens?
Nothing is known about the new movie yet, and that includes where it might land (or if it already has). StudioCanal produced and Universal’s Focus arm distributed ‘Indahouse’, so it’s possible he’s back with them, but for now we’ll have to wait and see.
