Scorned Howard Stern Employee Mocks Massive Firings

It just came out that around a dozen of Howard Stern’s staffers were fired via Zoom. This included some who had been with Stern for over twenty years. Now, one of his scorned former employees is mocking what has just happened. Keep reading for more on what they had to say and how they are poking fun at this disaster.

Howard Stern Slammed For Not Saving Staff

There are just two and a half years left in Howard Stern’s SiriusXM contract. Whether he will extend it is unclear and highly unlikely. In the meantime, he has a staff that has been with him, some for decades. Sadly, around a dozen faithfuls were fired via Zoom, and everyone was shocked. Of course, some diehard fans felt this was to be expected, as the show has gone downhill. Therefore, the need for a bevy of employees is now unnecessary. At the same time, they should still be taken care of given the fact that Stern is a multi-millionaire.

Many feel that he is solely out for himself and does not care about anyone else. Now, one of his fired employees is mocking the whole situation. Jon Blitt, who worked on-air, was let go, but he is finding new hope at Old Navy. He filmed a segment, teasing employment at the clothing store, and was very serious on his “first day.” Jon looked into the camera and stated:

“So today is my first day working at Old Navy. It’s different from my last job, but it’s a job, and the first thing I learned is ABF, ‘Always Be Folding.’”

It was clear that he was spoofing what had just happened to him and his fellow staffers. However, as much as he mocked the situation, it was sad all the same. Many of them had dedicated hours and years to Howard Stern. In this economy, working retail is not out of the realm for many who have high degrees or incredible resumes.

After his first video, Jon Blitt was not done. He followed it up with a day two, where he showcased SAS: Stock All Sizes. Of course, followers were obsessed with his deadpan humor and how he has carried this joke.

Making The Most Out Of A Bad Situation

Yes, Jon Blitt has lost his job with Howard Stern, but he is making the most out of a bad situation. However, he has taken his sense of humor to Old Navy, and followers are obsessed with him:

    • I don’t believe this because John’s more of a Gap guy.
    • You are a funny dude and I appreciated you bringing some fresh humor to a show that was in need. Best of luck
    • I’m sure this is a bit … meant ‘blittttttt’ however … I’m into it … rock the humor baby ❤️
    • Its Sterns staff that make the show. Howard only talks about learning guitar. The staff segments rule. You all need to create your own channel

Some stated that they wished it was true that Jon Blitt was an Old Navy employee. Maybe he will make appearances. Finally, what do you think of him mocking his Howard Stern firing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
