Taylor Swift has the highest-grossing concert tour of the year, and she’s about to conquer movie theaters, as well. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, opening Friday, October 13, has already sold more than $100 million in advance ticket sales in 8,500 theaters across 100 countries around the world.

Will it have a world premiere?

Yes. The movie will have its world premiere screening Wednesday, October 11 at The Grove in Los Angeles. It hasn’t been confirmed whether Swift will attend, but she is on hiatus from her concert tour (it resumes November 9 in Buenos Aires, part of a South America and Tokyo swing before breaking until 2024) and, er, the Kansas City Chiefs don’t play until the next night at home on Thursday Night Football. The movie itself did receive a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, which allows all parties to promote the film — which includes attending red carpets.

When does it open in theaters?

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour hits AMC theaters via Variance Films in the United States beginning Friday, October 13 at 6 p.m. local time. The movie, which runs 2 hours and 48 minutes, will play at least four showtimes per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays four the next four weekends at all AMC locations. It will also have screenings Tuesday, October 31 — Halloween night.

    How can I buy tickets?

For U.S. fans interested in experiencing the concert film at AMC Theatres, tickets are available at amctheatres.com/TheErasTour. They’re also on offer via ticket service Fandango. And, this being Taylor Swift, fans can see showtimes and buy tickets on the superstar’s own site dedicated to the film, TSTheErasTourFilm.com.

What theaters will it be in?

In addition to the more than 4,000 AMC locations in the U.S., Cineplex is distributing in Canada, and Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America. In Europe, it will play at every Odeon location.

Overall, the film will play in 8,500 theaters in 100 countries.

Beginning October 13, it will debut in Albania, Andorra, Angola, Antigua, Argentina, Armenia, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bermuda, Bolivia, Bosnia, Brunei, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Curacao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Fiji, Finland, France, French Guiana, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadalupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Kyrgystan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Maldives, Malta, Martinique, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Mazambique, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Nicaragua, North Macedonia, Norway, Pakistan, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Thailand, Trinidad, Tunisia, Ukraine, UK, Uruguay, U.S. Virgin Islands, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Zambia.

On November 3 it will start its run in Brazil, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Macau, Romania, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam.

Will it be available streaming online?
