The Fall 2026 Pieces Fashion Editors Are Buying First

As Who What Wear editors, we spend a lot of time analyzing upcoming trends—seeing them months early during fashion week—and shopping online. Given this, we’re all very well-versed in what’s to come for fall 2026.

A few trends from fall 2025 will carry over: capris, faux-fur coats, Flore Flore basics, high-V-neck tops, high-vamp shoes, and satin and silk pants. There are even items that feel less like trends at this point and more like timeless fall staples, such as button-down shirts, knee-high boots, and trench coats.
