    About Wayne Clark:

Born into an entertainment family in Burbank CA, with grand uncles who owned a circus they eventually sold to Ringling Brothers, performing was in his blood from the very beginning.

Early on he was in three episodes of Lassie and Wayne was hooked. Various stage opportunities came afterward and as a theatre major in college, Wayne became part of a Gilbert and Sullivan Company called the Lamplighters and auditioned for a company of Aunty Mame starring Virginia Mayo. Meeting and being hired by Gower Champion was meant to be, even though Gower was looking for a tenor. Wayne was a baritone, and not even realizing he was auditioning for Hello Dolly when Gower handed him the music for a song.  He landed the part of Louie the Waiter.  It was a life changing opportunity. He did the 1000th performance of Hello Dolly! A favorite moment was performing at The White House.

Cast in a show called Peg starring Eartha Kitt, he was paired as a dancer with Jacqueline Smith who went on to fame as Charlie’s Angels.  Wayne has many incredible stories to share. Of course Carol Channing is in many of them.
Wayne went on to produce and perform in many theatrical productions. He is what we call Theatre Royalty.
