At one point, Shatner shared a story from an early shoot at Vasquez Rocks in Los Angeles County, describing being pulled over by the police while in his Captain Kirk costume. He shared, “I thought I was going to be arrested. He raises his hand in a Vulcan salute and says, ‘live long and prosper.’”
Shatner’s appearance at the event also helped to disprove the previous rumors about his health. As the outlet noted, his representatives also shared that he was “100 percent healthy.” As a cancer survivor, Shatner has previously talked about his battle with stage four melanoma, and is known for keeping active and upbeat.
