Ryan Seacrest might have joined Wheel of Fortune a few years back, but his family recently made their first trip to the set. However, Seacrest teased that he wasn’t quite the reason they were visiting. Since then, fans have also been reacting to the moment on social media.
Ryan Seacrest Recently Had A Family Reunion On Wheel Of Fortune
Seacrest, previously known for his hosting duties on American Idol, joined Wheel of Fortune in 2024. Taking over as host for Season 42, he succeeded Pat Sajak, who had hosted the show since 1981.
Throughout his time on the show, Seacrest has also shared a few behind-the-scenes moments with fans on social media. During a recent share, he shared a big family moment. However, he felt that he wasn’t exactly the reason they came to the set.
As Ryan shared in a caption, “My family finally visited the Wheel of Fortune set… for Vanna White.” In the carousel post, he could be seen with his mother, sister, brother-in-law, and niece. As the wording implied, this was their first visit to the set since he joined the show.
Ryan’s Mother Even Had A Sweet Conversation With Vanna White
The carousel post opened up with Seacrest and his family smiling together as they stood behind the show’s famous wheel. Following this was a video in which the family matriarch, Constance, met Vanna White. White could be heard asking, “How are you doing? It’s so good to meet you,” while telling Ryan’s mom, “I love your son.”
Constance laughed and said, “So do I.” Holding White’s hand, she added, “I can tell you guys have fun together.” White replied, “We do.” Ryan could also be seen smiling next to the two women.
Another video showed Flora, Seacrest’s niece, spinning the wheel. Her famous uncle lifted her up as she couldn’t reach it. Ryan gave a few tips on how to spin it, like which hand to use and which way to turn it. He and Flora’s father, Jimmy, held onto Flora while she spun the wheel, which caused the crew members to cheer her on.
In the comments, White also shared, “What a beautiful family you have!” Ryan’s sister Meredith also shared, “We had the best time! The wheel isn’t [easy] to reach. Flora needed a little boost.” Fans also shared comments on how close the family was. Some comments included:
