You Spit, We Hit The Los Angeles Riots Are Not What You Think By Howard Bloom

“A once great American City, Los Angeles, has been invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals… I am ordering all necessary action to liberate Los Angeles from the Migrant Invasion.”  President Donald J. Trump

“Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated without my intervention.”  President Donald J. Trump

    First, the facts.

On Friday, June 6th, an unknown number of agents for ICE, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, were sent in to America’s second-largest city, Los Angeles.

ICE agents, are intimidating and can be lethal.  They are armed with fully loaded SIG Sauer 9 mm pistols.  Some carry M4-style AR-15 rifles, Remington 870 shotguns, and SIG Sauer MPX submachine guns.  Others carry MK12 sniper rifles. In LA, all of these ICE agents were  dressed to instill fear.  They were in riot gear, with body armor and helmets.

Los Angeles is 48% Latino.  Some of these Spanish speakers are American citizens, others are not.

The ICE forces swept a Home Depot parking lot, an Ambiance Apparel fashion store, garment warehouses, and clothing businesses in LA’s Fashion District.  They targeted day laborers, seamstresses, warehouse workers, restaurant employees, and delivery drivers.

ICE targeted fathers and mothers who had been here for up to 20 years. People working hard, contributing to their communities, raising their families, and paying their taxes.

Outraged at these Gestapo tactics on American soil, a thousand people showed up to protest.  Yes, a mere thousand.  The president declares that these were “paid rioters bearing foreign flags.”  The fact checkers say the president is wrong. These protesters were not paid.  Worse, the president said the protesters were “animals” and that LA is a “trash heap” with “entire neighborhoods under the control” of criminals.

But there’s one thing you have to understand about protests.  The vast majority of people who take part are peaceful.  However, a small minority of anarchists, antifa, and outright criminals are parasites.  They use the protests as cover.  They are the ones who throw things, burn cars, and loot businesses.

So, at 7:30 pm on the first night of the protests, when most of the protesters had gone home, the parasites went violent.  They threw concrete, rocks, fireworks, and electric scooters at police officers.

In response, LA mayor Carol Bass–a Democrat– ordered a full police mobilization, with 1,000 officers, including riot control units and police mounted on horseback.

The demonstrations are continuing to this day.

Many Los Angelenos feel that their friends, neighbors, and the folks who act as their elder care, child care, and health care providers or who handle the gardening outside their homes are being treated in a cruel and radically un-American manner.

But on Saturday, June 7th, the president signed a memorandum “liberating LA,” taking over California’s National Guard behind the back and over the head of both Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom, of Mayor Bass, and of the police chief of LA.  The president sent 2,000 National Guardsmen into LA, and later doubled that to 4,000.  He then augmented that with 700 marines, bringing the total up to 4,700 troops trained for war, trained for killing.

The president militarized a one-square mile portion of Los Angeles’ 503 square miles.  Why?  Said the president, “California’s feckless Democrat leaders have completely abdicated their responsibility to protect their citizens.” He declared that LA had been “invaded and conquered.” That it had become “a trash heap” with “entire neighborhoods under criminal control”,  and that he would “liberate Los Angeles and make it free, clean, and safe again”.

What’s more, the president bragged that, “We’re gonna have troops everywhere. We’re not going to let this happen to our country.” And he added, “IF THEY SPIT, WE WILL HIT, and I promise you they will be hit harder than they have ever been hit before. Such disrespect will not be tolerated!”

But the disrespectful “trash heap” of LA contributes more to the economy of America than any other city with the exception of New York. LA has a 1.3 trillion dollar economy.  And it pays more in federal taxes than any other city, again, with the exception of New York. So is it really “invaded and occupied by Illegal Aliens and Criminals”?  If it is, those invading aliens are more productive than the citizens of 19,493 of this nation’s other cities.

No wonder California Governor Gavin Newsom did not see eye-to-eye with the president.  He took Trump to court for violating state sovereignty and for abusing the Posse Comitatus Act and Title Ten, the federal laws governing—and limiting– the use of the military.  Said Newsom, the President was “turning the military against American citizens” in a move that was “unprecedented and a threat to democracy”.

Newsom argued that president’s militarization was “purposefully inflammatory,” and that it “will only escalate tensions.”  Newsom went on to say that it was not he who was incompetent, but the president, who sent in troops “without fuel, food, water, or a place to sleep” leading to soldiers “piled on top of one another” sleeping on floors.

Newsom warned that, “California may be first, but it clearly will not end here. Other states are next. Democracy is next. Democracy is under assault before our eyes”.   In other words, what the president is doing in LA is far more dangerous than it seems.

But the real irony is this.  Between the Los Angeles police and the troops sent in by the president, there were 5,700 armed men trained for violence and killing allocated to the one 500th of LA where the demonstrations were taking place.  But there were only 2,000 demonstrators.  Yes, 2,000!

Which means over two armed men were allocated for every one protester.

At night the streets were virtually empty.  With the exception of criminal looters and massed formations of troops ready for war.

Did somebody get the size of the LA demonstrations and the numbers of the parasitic looters just a little bit wrong? Or could it be that LA is being used as an example to demonstrate to Blue cities all over the nation that if you elect Democrats, your elected leaders will be brushed aside? And if you are a Democrat, the president has a right to crush you?

Says the president of the United States, yes.

Adds Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, “We are not going away. We are staying here to liberate this city from the socialist and burdensome leadership that this governor and this mayor have imposed.”  In other words, until it elects MAGA Republicans, LA will remain a city under military occupation.

Bloom’s new book is The Case of the Sexual Cosmos: Everything You Know About Nature is Wrong. Says Harvard’s Ellen Langer of The Case of the Sexual Cosmos, Bloom “argues that we are not savaging the earth as some would have it, but instead are growing the cosmos. A fascinating read.” One of Bloom’s eight previous books–Global Brain—was the subject of a symposium thrown by the Office of the Secretary of Defense including representatives from the State Department, the Energy Department, DARPA, IBM, and MIT.  Bloom’s work has been published in in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Wired, Psychology Today, and the Scientific American. Says Joseph Chilton Pearce, author of Evolution’s End and The Crack in the Cosmic Egg, “I have finished Howard Bloom’s [first two] books, The Lucifer Principle and Global Brain, in that order, and am seriously awed, near overwhelmed by the magnitude of what he has done. I never expected to see, in any form, from any sector, such an accomplishment.  I doubt there is a stronger intellect than Bloom’s on the planet.”   For more, see http://howardbloom.net or http://howardbloom.institute
