Kelly Clarkson is preparing to sign off from her talk show after seven seasons, and fans are brokenhearted. However, they are even more livid due to the “lies” she told them ahead of said finale, which will air in the Fall of 2026. Keep reading for more on what viewers had to say.
Kelly Clarkson Fed Fans ‘Lies’
It is sad to know that Kelly Clarkson’s talk show is coming to an end, given its popularity. The singer even moved the show from California to New York City, and tickets were immensely hard to come by. That being said, she has had a good run, but she has so many other big things ahead of her. She has a Las Vegas residency and is a coach on Season 30 of The Voice. Furthermore, she is a doting mother to Remy and River, so there is a lot on her plate.
Leading up to her final episodes, Kelly had promised her viewers new episodes. However, that seemingly has not happened, and they are beyond livid. The episodes are from spring of this year, and although they are of high quality, they are not what anyone was expecting. After seeing that this is all repeats, viewers immediately chimed in with angry words. They wanted Kelly to know that this was unacceptable, especially so close to the end:
- It feels like it’s already over. It’s not, I know. But the Summer of reruns has been a buzzkill
- They said the Summer shows would be new, they lied
- The show is ending, they said their would new episodes to wrap it up
For some, it feels like Kelly Clarkson should have just ended it already on a high note. Rather, it feels like she is just dragging this finale for whatever reason.
The End Of An Era
After winning the first season of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson likely had no idea what would happen when she started a talk show. Could it be a hit, or would she be panned? At the end of the day, she made it her own and even added in Kellyoke, which viewers loved. Having a musical element, where she made songs her own, was special, and viewers became obsessed. After seven years, it could have gone longer, but as Kelly shared:
“Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
Regardless, fans want to see more of Kelly Clarkson, new episodes, and less of the old:
- 👏 I wish they weren’t reruns I want her to be there
- Im aware this is last season they said there would be new shows in August and the final show on August 31
