Bethenny Frankel Breaks Silence On ‘Confusing’ Misdiagnosis

Bethenny Frankel was part of the original cast of The Real Housewives of New York City. She was a fan-favorite with her quick one-liners and memorable clap-backs. She found the experience too much and left after just three seasons. However, she’s kept fans updated on her life. The Bravo alum recently broke her silence on a “confusing” misdiagnosis amid ongoing health struggles. Keep reading for all the details.

Bethenny Frankel Breaks Silence On ‘Confusing’ Misdiagnosis Amid Health Struggles

Bethenny Frankel turned down the opportunity to reunite with RHONY OGs Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Kelly Bensimon for E!’s The Golden Life. She claimed she wasn’t interested. However, insiders said that she was never asked to join. Jill Zarin was initially cast, but fired over racist remarks about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. She was replaced by The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dorinda Medley.

But maybe it’s a good thing Bethenny Frankel turned it down. She’s had a lot of health issues over the years that have gotten worse recently. She previously discussed suffering from POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), severe chronic dehydration, and long COVID-related symptoms. She revealed earlier this year that she was diagnosed with kidney disease. But did the doctors get it wrong?

Bethenny Frankel posted a video on Instagram in early August about finding out she was misdiagnosed. “I really don’t want to tell you this but I have to tell you this because it could help one of you or several of you. They said that I’ve been misdiagnosed with something pretty major.”

“I’m very confused. I was sort of operating with the idea that I do have this and I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus. I tried to do the right thing and it’s very confusing and I just think that there’s nothing we should be more thorough about than our medical care,” she added.

The RHONY alum didn’t reveal the details of the misdiagnosis. However, she did share a warning.

    RHONY Alum Issues Stark Warning

Bethenny Frankel’s message was confusing to fans. She didn’t share what she was misdiagnosed with or how it affected her overall health. However, she seemed to be encouraging her followers to seek a second or third opinion if their symptoms persist. “Whatever it is that you think you have or symptoms that you are experiencing. We are so thorough about restaurants and shopping and business and I think we need to be very thorough about our health.”

She previously shared a stark warning in February. The RHONY revealed that she had been taking supplements that were actually bad for her. “You have to make sure that your doctor knows about it, because some things can affect different parts of your body,” she warned about informing your doctor of what you’re taking.

Bethenny Frankel seemed to be still processing the misdiagnosis. She may share more details with fans eventually. Stay tuned for more on this developing story.
