Mama Mary Schmucker Dead At Age Of 65
TMZ broke the news that Mama Mary Schmucker has passed away today. She has been battling cancer and news came out earlier today that she wasn’t doing well. Fans were sending prayers to her in hopes that she would make it through.
She passed Friday at her home in Pennsylvania and this news was confirmed by her son Andrew Schmucker. Fans remember her son from the show as well.
What Happened To Mary?
Mary has been battling cancer for a while now and her death was a result of complications from the cancer. It had spread all over her body. Just this week she was hospitalized, but Mary was able to go home and passed away in the comfort of her own home. Her son Andrew was not there with her and is headed home at this time. He did say that the family has all been notified of her death.
Mary was on both shows Breaking Amish and Return To Amish. Her son Andrew was seen on the show some, but her son Abe and his wife Rebecca were better known in the reality TV world. They were on the show alongside her. Mary’s husband was on the show for a short time, too, but he was blurred. He never wanted to leave the Amish and she ended up going back home to be with him and make her marriage work.
This show has not been on for a bit, so fans didn’t get to see any of Mary’s cancer battle or struggles. They have been keeping up with how she is doing from posts made on social media. The sad news of her passing is something that will surprise a lot of fans. Mama Mary Schmucker will be missed by many.
Our prayers and condolences are with Mama Mary Schmucker’s family at this time. News recently broke from Jeremiah Raber that Return To Amish has been canceled and will not return. This means cameras were not rolling at all during this time in Mary’s life.
