Harry Styles has officially been recognised by Guinness World Records for his record-breaking Wembley Stadium residency.
Guinness World Records confirmed today (July 6) that Styles has achieved the title for the longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run, after completing 12 shows at the London venue.
The title was secured on Saturday (July 4), when the former One Direction singer wrapped up the London leg of his ‘Together, Together’ tour with the final show of his run.
The official Guinness World Records title reads: “The longest residency by a musician at Wembley Stadium during a single run is 12 shows and was achieved by Harry Styles (UK) at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, on 4 July 2026.”
Styles began the residency on June 12 as part of the tour in support of his fourth studio album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’. He had originally been due to play six nights at the stadium, before the run was doubled due to demand.
The 12-date stint saw him overtake the previous record of 10 Wembley Stadium shows, set by Coldplay during their ‘Music Of The Spheres’ world tour in 2025.
Following official verification, Styles and the tour crew were presented with the certificate onstage at Wembley by Guinness World Records adjudicator Will Munford, and the singer has arranged for certificates to be made available to members of the wider tour team.
“Wembley Stadium is one of the most iconic live music venues in the world, so to achieve the longest residency by a musician there during a single run is an extraordinary achievement,” Munford said.
“Harry Styles’ record-breaking 12-date run is a testament to the scale, ambition and cultural impact of his live performances, as well as the incredible connection he has with his fans.”
He added: “It is also brilliant to see Harry and his team recognising the wider tour team with official Guinness World Records certificates, celebrating the huge amount of work that goes into delivering a record-breaking run like this.
“Record-breaking moments are rarely achieved alone, and this is a true example of what we mean when we say everyone can be part of it.”
Styles is already a Guinness World Records title holder, having previously been recognised after ‘As It Was’ registered 2.28billion global subscription streams equivalent units across all digital formats in 2022, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
Speaking onstage, Gemma said: “My little brother is about to finish a record breaking 12 night run. I don’t think of you as ‘this’ at all in day-to-day life. I think of you as a brother, an uncle and a best friend.
“And seeing the incredible community that has formed around you, is just indescribable. Thank you to everyone who has been here with you over the last 12 nights and the last 16 years.”
She continued: “I’m so proud of you. I’m proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be and the impact that you have on so many. Thank you for being you, and thank you for letting us watch. I love you so much. Please – help me congratulate you on a historic 12 nights at Wembley!”
The Wembley run also saw Styles celebrate England’s World Cup win over DR Congo with the crowd before one of the shows, while he later led fans in a singalong of ‘Three Lions’. David Baddiel subsequently reacted to footage of Styles singing the song at Wembley, joking that he was “happy to waive the royalties for Harry”.
The ‘Together, Together’ residency tour will still see Styles perform in São Paulo, Mexico City, Melbourne and Sydney throughout 2026. It also includes a 30-show residency at Madison Square Garden, which will be his only US dates this year. See the full list of dates here.
