‘The Bachelor’ Sean Lowe’s Son Faces Terrifying Diagnosis

The Bachelor family is going through a lot right now as medical crises abound. Now, show alum Sean Lowe and his wife, Catherine Giudici Lowe, are sharing their son’s terrifying diagnosis. So, what happened, and will he be okay? Keep reading for more details.

Sean Lowe’s Son In Heartwrenching Condition

In Season 17 of The Bachelor, Sean Lowe was hopeful that he would find his perfect match. Previous seasons had been iffy, hit or miss, but he remained optimistic. In the end, he chose Catherine Giudici, and the two went on to tie the knot. They have since welcomed three children into their family: Samuel, Isaiah, and Mia. The family shares their adventures via social media, and they seem to have a great time. However, things got scary when their son, Isaiah, dropped 11 pounds and was drinking a lot of water as well as urinating a lot.

He was given tests and immediately sent to the emergency room. Initially, The Bachelor couple assumed that he was growing, hence the weight loss. Plus, it has been a hot summer, so the excessive thirst made sense. However, that was not the case, and he was ultimately diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Catherine Giduici applauded how well her son has handled everything and stated that he is her new hero:

    • Isaiah is my new hero and I am so proud to be his mama. Prayers for him, his siblings and his parents are welcomed as we navigate this new normal. ❤️

She went on to share snaps from his time at the hospital, and he appeared to be faring quite well, despite the circumstances.

Others who were parents of children with diabetes chimed in as they could relate and they knew the struggle. They tried to offer words of wisdom and encouragement:

    • You’re an amazing mama! As a fellow T1D mama, I want you know you can do this and though the learning curve is steep, you will learn to adapt with it better every day.

    A Whole New World

This a whole new world for the Bachelor Nation couple. They are doing their best to navigate it, and that is all that matters. Meanwhile, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are receiving so much love, including co-star Trista Sutter:

    • So sorry that you have a baby that is struggling, but he is so lucky to have you right by his side. Prayers up for continued guidance that you trust!

Fans and followers also sent a lot of encouragement:

    • Keeping sweet Isaiah and all of y’all in my prayers. Praying for strength, healing, and brighter days ahead ❤️🙏
    • Oh no! I am so sorry! 🤍 so glad your pediatrician caught it pretty early!!
    • So impressed your pediatrician caught it at a routine check. Usually it takes a catastrophic event or emergency for people to realize what is going on.
