Tom Morello teams up with Kneecap and Beartooth for new album ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’ as he shares new single ‘Date Night’

Tom Morello has announced his new solo album ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’ and shared the single ‘Date Night’ – listen below.

The Rage Against The Machine guitarist will release the record on September 25 via Mom + Pop Music and it will feature collaborations with Irish rap trio Kneecap on ‘Unconquered’ and Ohio metalcore band Beartooth on ‘Everything Burns’. Pre-save it here.

System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian and Morello’s 15-year-old son Roman also appear on the already-released ‘Adjourn It’, while Roman shares writing credits on five of the album’s songs.

New single ‘Date Night’ recounts the story of Dutch resistance fighters Truus and Freddie Oversteegen and Hannie Schaft, who carried out espionage, sabotage and assassination missions against Nazis and their collaborators during the Second World War.

The trio also helped Jewish children escape persecution and used their youth and appearance to pass through checkpoints. Schaft was eventually captured and executed by the Nazis in April 1945.

    Listen to it here:

    “I make anti-racist songs for anti-racists,” Morello has said. “I make anti-fascist songs for anti-fascists. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis.”

“‘Date Night’ is really a ‘which side are you on?’ song. If any of that offends you, do the math. Oh, and Roman Morello wrote the killer riff in this tune.”

The tracklist for ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’:

    1. ‘Beth From Electronics’
    2. ‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’
    3. ‘Adjourn It’ (feat. Serj Tankian and Roman Morello)
    4. ‘I Am Not Yours To Command’
    5. ‘Soldier In The Army Of Love’
    6. ‘Unconquered’ (feat. Kneecap)
    7. ‘Date Night’
    8. ‘The Last Rung On The Ladder’
    9. ‘Everything Burns’ (feat. Beartooth)
    10. ‘Pretend You Remember Me’
    11. ‘Untethered’
    12. ‘They Can’t Kill Us All’

‘Everyone Gets Everything They Want’ was produced by Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey and Sam Nelson Harris, and is billed as Morello’s first solo rock album.

Speaking to NME when he first teased the record in 2024, the guitarist discussed collaborating with Roman on ‘Soldier In The Army Of Love’.

“I’ve got a 13-year-old guitar player there who may be giving me a run for my money,” he said at the time. “It’s really exciting to have a song that has three generations of Morellos on it.”

Morello recently described Kneecap as “clearly the Rage Against The Machine of now”, praising the trio for their outspoken political stance. “What they’re doing in their art is what people could probably stand to do more in their lives: to really speak truth to power,” he said.

The comments prompted Disturbed frontman David Draiman to call Morello “shameful”, before Kneecap responded by describing Draiman as a “straight up c**t”.

Morello is also set to host the sold-out Power To The People Festival in Maryland on October 3. The event will include performances from Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black and The Linda Lindas.

    Morello’s upcoming live dates are:

    SEPTEMBER 2026
    18 – Nashville, Tennessee – Cannery Hall
19 – Louisville, Kentucky – Louder Than Life
    20 – Milwaukee, Wisconsin – The Rave/Eagles Club

    OCTOBER 2026
3 – Columbia, Maryland – Power To The People Festival

    MARCH 2027
2 – Medicine Hat, Alberta – The Esplanade
3 – Camrose, Alberta – Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre
5 – Lloydminster, Alberta – Vic Juba Community Theatre
6 – Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta – Dow Centennial Centre Shell Theatre
8 – Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – E.A. Rawlinson Centre For The Arts

Elsewhere, Morello recently launched the Mary Morello Memorial Project following his mother’s death at the age of 102, encouraging fans to honour her through “caring, service and action”.
