LAFAYETTE, Colo. (August 26, 2026) — Small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider Blue Canyon Technologies, part of RTX’s (NYSE: RTX) Raytheon business, has unveiled its latest spacecraft subsystem, the FleXbus.

FleXbus provides customers with a mission-ready, flight-proven kit of spacecraft components, including Blue Canyon’s industry-leading FleXcore guidance, navigation and control subsystem. These configurable components assemble quickly and operate together on orbit allowing customers to accelerate launch, build sovereign capability, focus on mission-specific engineering and gain hands-on integration experience.

“With the FleXbus mission enabler, customers can integrate Blue Canyon’s industry-leading components into their own space vehicle, leveraging our proven heritage within their own facilities,” said Chris Winslett, general manager of Blue Canyon Technologies. “FleXbus expands on our reliable FleXcore guidance, navigation and control system by including additional components in a platform that offers an integrated approach to total spacecraft bus functionality.”

Designed to give customers the freedom to innovate by supporting any spacecraft structure without configuration constraints, the FleXbus includes an avionics computer and Command & Data Handling system, GNC control algorithms, sensors and actuators.
